The VSM is event-alert text messages service recommended for a large cluster of networked Systems where an enormous amount of maintenance service is required. When any online System is event-triggered, instant text messages will be sent to VSM for IT operator to proceed with maintenance on the System cluster. Following the receipt of the messages, the VSM can activate alarms to the operator's attention while sending emails and SMS alerts to local subscribers. The purpose of adopting VSM is to help IT operators easily notice Systems health status and response instantly to various frequent events. It can co-work with Center V2 Server and serve as many as 1,000 Systems simultaneously.

The Center V2 Pro is a professional version of Central Monitoring Station (CMS) software that can be installed in a CMS server. It brings multiple GeoVision Systems together into an integrated interface, allowing the operator to manage several systems from one point of control. The Center V2 Pro can manage 500 Systems and receive video images from maximal 800 channels to its monitoring screen. On an alert condition, the Center V2 Pro receives live images or event messages with attached video clips to correlate evidence of activity and instantly brings operator's attention.

The Control Center's features and capabilities include the followings.

• Remote DVR Configuration: Full control of local DVR settings
  The Remote DVR facilitates the administrator to remotely configure local System’s specific settings from one single workstation. When the Remote DVR is on the run, the local System loses its full control of the DVR operations and the Control Center takes full control of the configuration.
• Remote Desktop: Remote access to local DVR desktop
  When the Remote Desktop is on the run, the Control Center will receive the same desktop view of local DVR. In the meantime, the security administrator can remotely control the local System's full operations and even configure Windows operation system of the networked System at low bandwidth.
• Matrix View: Remotely monitor, record and playback from 1000 hosts
  The Matrix View is a single display where videos from a group of maximum 96 cameras will be displayed, e.g. groups of office area cameras, exit cameras, or street cameras. The Control Center supports up to 8 Matrix View displays with 768 cameras on 8 monitors at a time. Depending on various surveillance needs, the center operator can open 8 Matrix View displays simultaneously to view more videos from different DVRs / NVRs. Each Matrix View supports live monitoring, recording and video playback.
• Remote ViewLog: Playback of recorded videos from local Systems
  The Remote ViewLog function enables playback of all video archives from different Systems. The security administrator can utilize this Remote ViewLog to save video clips for future event retrieval or for video evidence.
• I/O Central Panel: Group, manage and remotely configure I/O devices
  The Control Center provides a useful I/O Central Panel for the security administrator to remotely manage all I/O devices connected with Systems. Administrators can group function-related I/O devices together for ease of control, e.g. groups of IR sensors, alarms, or fire exits. In case of building fire, for example, the Control Center can trigger all alarms on the networked Systems and force opening all the fire exits or water spray systems at the same time.

  The Control Center provides a virtual monitor option, the IP Matrix, for TV Wall control capable of providing up to 36 Matrix views and 3456 cameras over the network.

The GV-Backup Center program provides you with a secure and affordable remote backup solution for the GV-Video Server and GV-Compact DVR. The GV-Backup Center can automatically store a copy of recordings and logs to the offsite location. If a disaster strikes where the GV-Video Server or GV-Compact DVR is located, the recording data remain safe in a different location.

The GV-Video Gateway is a video streaming server designed for large-scale video surveillance deployments. It can receive up to 128 IP cameras from various IP video devices. Then it can simultaneously distribute up to 300 channels to its clients which include GV-System (DVR/NVR system), GV-GIS (geographic information system), GV-Control Center (central monitoring system) and Multi View (viewing software). Through the GV-Video Gateway, the CPU loading of IP video devices is significantly minimized and the desired frame rates are reached as well as the bandwidth usage is greatly reduced.

In some areas or countries, you may like to install 3G wireless Internet module (e.g. GPRS/UMTS) on the GV-Video Server or GV-Compact DVR but have the problem to obtain a public IP address from ISP. The Passive connection method of GV-Video Gateway can solve the public IP issue by accepting the connection request from the GV-Video Server or GV-Compact DVR, and then distribute the video streaming to clients.

It is also possible to view single-channel live images on the GV-Video Gateway server or multiple-channel live images on any PC through the GV-Video Gateway’s Web interface.
