we have all of the cameras working except for a couple of them. Basically, we've been unable to get the full-housing AC/DC cameras to work on DC power and at the warehouse location, all we have is DC power. Any ideas? Are we missing something?
If cable run is more than 100 ft, the voltage may drop significantly. Please meter the voltage the power on the camera end and make sure that the voltage shall not fall below 10.8 V. If the voltage drops below 10.8V, please try to find a local power source which is closer to the camera.
Using a AC24V power source may also help to extend the distance 20-30 feet without voltage drop depending on your installation environment.
