1. Product Description
The Mx2wire+ is a further enhancement of the existing Mx2wire product and represents a complete new category of MOBOTIX products, allowing you to develop new market segments and applications.

Main objective is to connect a MOBOTIX camera or other PoE/PoE+ IP devices through an existing 2 wire copper connection. Mx2wire technology is also used in the MOBOTIX door station info module to connect and power the MOBOTIX door station modules via 2 wires. This technology is extremely interesting as it is to re-use existing copper wires like antenna/video coax, telephone or power cables or any other wires with sufficient diameter and quality. With this device you can retro-fit older buildings, replace analog camera installations, extend ethernet networks to other rooms and premises with very low installation effort. Mx2wire+ only works as a pair, identified through the Net ID Number.

Important Notice: MX-2Wire is only working as a set of 2 devices and therefore will be only delivered as set of 2. You can not mix Mx2wire with other Ethernet modulators.
